Hey guys, Wyatt here...

Today, we brought on Alexander to write about his new SEO method that has been brining in over $400/day just from one single CPA network

And it even resulted in the CPA account manager congratulating him :P

This training could be considered a bit "advanced" but the truth is, once you get the hang of it... it's insanely simple

With that being said, enjoy the post :) Leave a comment if you have any questions

Hey guys, Alex here, with another tutorial for you guys. This time, we're going to be doing something a bit different. I'm sure you all know of 301 redirects, and how powerful they were before the newest set of updates were rolled out. Most of you guys are used to spamming a 301, such as TinyURL, that just points to your money site, which doesn't work like it used to.

Well, no need to worry. Today's post is going to be on the structure that I've been using for months, even before the latest Penguin update, to rank higher and higher, every single day. The big picture here is that once you set the website and the method up, you just sit back, relax, and enjoy the rankings. Now, you can monetize with affiliate sites, splash pages, CPA sites, or anything else you want to rank and drive traffic to. Please note, this isn't "guaranteed" per say, this method has worked for me in the past, but there is no "secret to ranking" (or I'd be #1 in garcinia cambogia right now :P).

What is it? Before we start, let me show you some proof:

AdWork Media Earning Graph

As you can see, the site started off on the bottom of page three on Google, earning close to nothing. As October progressed, the site was slowly climbing up, higher and higher, until reaching page one. Bottom of page one was achieved on the thirteenth of this month, and, ten days later, it's sitting on page one, bringing in a pretty penny...

Earnings Overview

Compared to the last month, everything was the same: landing page, niche, website, and theme. Only difference? Rankings.

and if that's not enough, I got a message from the owner of the network on the day the Penguin update was released (same day my site ranked #1)...

Dennis AIM Message

Excited? Well, you should be. Now, let's cut to the chase and get to the method.

Preparation

For this method, we're going to need four domains. Now, I'm going to be purchasing .com domains, however, you can use cheaper alternatives, such as .pw ($3.98 on NameCheap currently) or .info, it is up to you. The domain extensions makes no difference in ranking. Now, make sure that your domains are somewhat relevant to your niche. I know that not all of you have a large budget right now, so we'll be using .pw domains in this tutorial.

Let's take "weight loss" for example, if that is your keyword, you should try to purchase domains like:

  • WeightLossBlog.pw
  • ProductsForWeightLoss.pw
  • LosingWeight.pw
  • QuicklyShedPounds.pw

I went ahead and purchased these exact domains, for the sake of this tutorial. Now, the domains are now on my account. Again, I will be using NameCheap for this tutorial, so if you want to be able to follow this tutorial exactly, you should use them as well. Now, just navigate to your domains, and you should see your newly purchased domains.

NameCheap Domains

So, what now? Well, one of the domain names we're not going to use until the very end. Take your pick, and now head on over to Bit.ly, a URL shortening service. I recommend creating an account, it only takes a few seconds, but it is not required. Now, just shorten the fourth domain, the one you picked earlier; it should look something like this:

Bit.ly Shortened Link

Once you do that, you're going to want to go to your NameCheap domain panel again, and click on the actual domain (it looks like a hyperlink), click on the arrows:

NameCheap Domains + Arrows

You'll be brought to a page that looks like this. Now, let me clarify, we're only doing this for the three domains that we're using for the first 301 step (don't include the one that you picked above and shortened). Again, this is what the page will look like:

NameCheap Dashboard

Click the URL Forwarding button (check the arrow), and you'll be at a page that looks like this:

NameCheap Domain Settings

Just fill in the shortened URL that we got earlier for both of the boxes. The other boxes that are empty should not be worried about, NameCheap will automatically fill them for you.

Redirect

As soon as you do that, complete it for the next two domains. Now, once you are done with those, you're going to have to do the exact same thing for the last domain that was not used, but, the domain will be different. You will be adding a 301 redirect to the final domain, it will redirect to your money site.

Final Redirect

Now what? Well, now it's time for the links. How? GSA Search Engine Ranker. Now, these are the exact settings that I use for GSA, and it's what I recommend.

Before we do that, I'd like to mention that I was awarded "VIP" title, only GSA experts are invited (not paid, invite only) into this group by Sven, the creator of GSA. The project settings I use are the ones that you can rely on, so without further adieu, folks, here are my platforms used:

SER Platforms

Anchor text? We got you.

Anchors

Those are the two main settings used, but if you want the full download, you can download the project here and edit it to your liking (includes some of my verified/submitted links and a keyword list, enjoy that added bonus): Download

These GSA links blasted to the first three 301 websites will not only act as a filter (think like a coffee filter between your main site) and stop all of the bad link juice, but preserve the good. Don't have GSA? No need to worry. People are willing to do all of the hard work for you. How much? $5. Take your pick. Make sure that you request the provider to use the following settings used above (anchor text and platform wise), if you are unsure if they do so, just send them a message and ask.

If you guys have any questions, please don't hesitate to comment below, we're happy to help.

  1. Interesting post Alexander!

    Do I have this right…

GSA links to -> Domain 1, Domain 2, Domain 3

These 3 domains all redirect to Domain 4 (using a Bit.ly link), and Domain 4 redirects to the money site via a 301 redirect.

    Questions:

Do you send any GSA Links directly to Domain 4?
How many links to you blast to these domains and for how long?

    • Hi Gary,

Looks good! I don’t send any GSA links to the fourth domain since it is closer to the domain and the spam will have a more direct effect (I’ve tested this theory out, and it just messes up the whole structure, since the fourth domain points directly to the money site and should be clean).

As for the links, just keep on building them for as long as you can, just makes the power more and more and the ranking higher and higher. No set number, just as many as you can and for as long as you can :)

      Alex

  2. how about the link building structure
    How it look like
    Can you explain
    exactly please

    • Hi Any,

The structure is explained if you want to purchase and outsource your linking. If not, then just download the GSA project, import it, and edit your URL/anchors and you’re set.

      Alexander

  3. So this helped increase the ranking of your money site, right? That’s the objective?

    • BTW, what’s the point in 301 redirecting the forth domain to the money site – why not just send the first three domains to money site via 301?

      Sorry, I’m not sure I follow :-(

      • The Bit.ly acts as a filter (think coffee filter) between your spammed sites and the fourth domain. It keeps the link juice flowing because the Bit.ly is authoritative and can take the hit from the spammed domains and transfer the good link juice to the fourth domain. We try to keep the fourth domain as clean as possible, this is due to the fact that it points directly to our money site.

        Alexander

    • Yes indeed :)

      • So the 1st three domains with the bit.ly link are using only a normal redirect (not the 301) to the 4th clean domain? and then the 4th clean domain directly links to the money site with a 301 redirect?

  4. Looks very interesting! I don’t want to appear dumb, but I take it that all the purchased domains are populated with content and that the backlinks are sent to all four domains

    • Hi Derrick,

None of them have content on them at all, we’re 301 redirecting them to other sites, so adding content would be useless. :)

      Alex

  5. Great article. Many thanks for this.

Just one thing to clarify: the settings to send to the GSA Fiverr guy are those settings in the screenshot? Not the project download file?

  6. What’s your on-page like for the money site? Are you using aged domains or fresh ones & do you build them out or wait and see if they rank first?

Def giving this a spin :P

  7. hi Alex,

thanx for the tutorial. let see if I understood it right, here comes some noob questions: you make a GSA campaign for the 3 unshorted domains, and do nothing with the last one? about the GSA settings, you have 10%, 20% and 40% for the anchor text, what about the 30% that’s left?

    • Hi Al,

You make the campaign for the 3 domains, point them to Bit.ly, point Bit.ly to fourth domain, and point fourth domain to money site. As for the remaining anchor, it’s the main anchor text that’s used (in this case, it’s “weight loss”).

      Alex

  8. This is a great idea Alex! I’ve never messed with 301 Redirects before, but this makes sense.

    To sum up:

4 domains. 3 domains 301 redirect to the fourth domain using bit.ly shortened urls.

The fourth domain then links directly to your money site for ranking.

GSA Ranker is used to build a ton of links to the 3 301 redirecting domains to pass link juice. The bit.ly links are used to filter away any bad link juice that may be passed to the fourth url and money site.

    I think i’ve got this lol ;)

    • When looking at keywords to target for this method, how easy does the keyword need to be in order for this to rank? I’m still quite new to everything so I want to make sure I don’t pick a keyword that won’t rank with this method.

Any advice or rules to follow when using this method?

  9. How much content are you putting on these new domains?

    • No content is put on any of the four domains because they’re being used as 301s. Even if you had content, it wouldn’t be crawled, so you’d be wasting your time. Just follow the tutorial ;) Let me know if you have any
      more questions!

      Alexander

      • Should we be using expired domains?

        • Nope, just keep using the same money site and purchase 4 new domains just like in the tutorial. Let me know if you have any more questions.

          Alex

          • So you’re not using expired domains for the 4 domains that were purchased? You don’t worry about any existing metrics? You just simply register 4 completely brand new domains and use them for this set up?

  10. Interesting concept Alexander. I would like to learn more. However, the download link you provided at FileDropper is “Tutorial Project Sample.ser” – which is unrecognized on my Windows 7 Pro machine. I am not interested in installing some obscure reader, so can you please provide the download in a more popular file type?

    Thanks!

  11. Have you used this strategy on its own or does it supplement other link building to the money site?

    Cheers

  12. SWEET SHARE Easy to follow and implement!

    2 Quick questions
    1. Do you think this will work for ranking videos
    2. Local keywords are more long tail for clients IF can be used for videos
Any suggestions for keywords when needing to rank for long tailed?

Guys you’re sharing some sweet stuff lately. MUCH APPRECIATED!

  13. Can we custimize the bit.ly url ? Or dosen’t it matter.

    • Hi Keith,

Customizing the Bit.ly (bit.ly/custom) doesn’t matter, I just don’t bother to since it has no effect, you’re free to do so if you’d like :)

      Alex

  14. do you put the 4 domains on different hostings?

  15. This seems like a great tool to get a bunch of generic links to a new money site so as to dilute the percentage of our high value links from our PBN. Any problems with that approach

    • Hi Peter,

If I understand you correctly, you want to dilute the main anchor that was increased with your PBN links? The only link you’re actually getting is one 301, and those hold no anchors (since the spammed domains are separated with the Bit.ly).

      Alex

  16. Hi Alex. I understand that you cannot make any claims about the results others may have with this strategy, but it sounds strange to me that you say –“this method has worked for me in the past”– Do you mean it’s not working for you in the present?

    • Those screenshots are from right now :p so yes, it’s working

      • Thanks for this useful tutorial. I couldn’t download the Project. It’s not available anymore?

      • Hey Wyatt,

What pinging service are you using to ping your private blog network backlink sites to get notice by the Google spider bots rapidly fast so the money site can start ranking page #1 on Google within a couple of days for the keyword of my choosing?

How many PBN sites do I need to buy to rank first page on Google for the competitive search terms “how to make money online” “how to loose weight” & “make money online” when using Cloud PBN?

        Regards,
        Kenneth

        • I don’t use any pinging service– I just let it happen naturally. Also, it’s going to be “nearly” impossible to rank for those kinds of keywords. I recommend trying to rank for much more long tail and less competitive keywords (especially if you’re just getting started)

There’s no “set” number of PBN sites it will take to rank, you just have to start with a few and feel it out :)

          • When you say naturally what do you mean because I’m confused. So how you rank your SEO site once your pbn backlinks are created because I followed the instructions within the software cloud pbn and my site is still not on Google ranking for my keywords?

      • The stats look great, but what happened on the 20 October whenth eranking seems to drop away to nothing and then flatline?

        • This screenshot was taken in the past :P dates 24th and beyond are “future” dates. As for the slight drop after the 20th, this was just temporary. Actually, the other day earnings were above $700

  17. i am curious if you have tried this with videos or not? I bought an aged domain and 301 redirected to my video. I bought a fiverr gig and had three days of gsa run to the aged domain. Got pg 1 rankings for a couple local keywords. I never considered using new domains and also redirecting multiple domains. I bet this would work even better-I guess only one way to find out!

  18. Hi Alexander,

This is really awesome stuff and it sounds crazy enough to work. I’m ready to give this a try, but first I have some questions if you don’t mind…

    1) Instead of buying 4 domains to use for this method, can I use less or more, or is 4 domains the perfect number?

    2) My money sites are registered with Namecheap. Can I still use Namecheap to buy the 4 domains or would it be safer to register them somewhere else such as GoDaddy? My main concern is that Google may somehow “connect the dots” and see that my money sites and “spam domains” are all registered together by the same person at the same place. What are your suggestions on this?

    3) Regarding this method, is there any chance whatsoever that my money sites *could* get penalized by Google? I have one money site that I’ve spent so much time, money and effort on, so I want to be sure 1000% that it won’t get wiped out if I use this method.

    4) Since Bit.ly and TinyURL both have very high PR, does it make any difference which one I use? Interestingly, I just went to the Bit.ly site and I got a “Reported Attack Page” message. Is Bit.ly still safe to use?

    5) If I hire someone on Fiverr for a GSA gig, can they do all 3 “spam domains” at once, or would I have to order 3 gigs, one for each?

Looking forward to hearing from you. These posts get better and better each time. Thanks in advance…

    • Great share Alex! No questions until I actually go implement it.

But what I would like to know is moneysite.com your site? I know “money site” is always just used as an example…but saw that the “money site” example in this post actually leads to moneysite.com.

Is that website based on a platform or is it fully custom? It’s not wordpress. I just think it looks pretty cool

      • Hi Chris,

Nope, not my domain :P Looks like an awesome landing page though. I checked, and it’s not a WordPress site (I used the tool called WhatWPThemeIsThat).

        Alex

    • Hi Wayne,

Any number is fine, but I used four, and than’s what I recommend.

I used the same registrar, but for the money site, the IP is different because the host is. We’re using the default NameCheap domain IP, so millions of sites are hosted on there already, so you shouldn’t worry much about the 3 domains being linked together.

My money sites haven’t been “wiped out” and it’s been a few months since I’ve been using this method. We take extra precautions, such as not spamming the first domain, and using Bit.ly between the spam domain and the fourth domain (that points to our money site). Hopefully those will stop all the bad link juice.

Either one is fine. Yeah, I saw that too earlier today, seems to be fixed. Not completely sure what caused that, but this is good to see: https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=bit.ly – currently not listed as an attack page.

They can add three domains to the same project, shouldn’t be an issue. Make sure to ask them if you have any questions.

Let me know if anything else comes up!

      Alex

  19. Alexander – any chance of getting a response to the 3 questions raised in the comment below by “Paul”?

    http://dripapps.com/automated-profits-set-n-forget-tiered-301-structure/#comment-475

  20. Hi Alex,
I’ve set it all up and was testing the flow.
Bitly gave me a “Stop – there might be a problem with the requested link” warning page. Maybe this is fine, as the bots would ignore. What do you think?
    thanks.

  21. Good Info been wanting to see if that style was still an option.
Would it make a difference if you you scraped better PA/DA back-linking to the 3 to your buffer site? Would tat be a waste or is this just a turn and burn method: rinse and repeat

Have you tried to do any domain authority stacking with this method? Thanks again for the info bro! Cheers

  22. This may be a stupid question, but can I do all of this, including having my money site all on one account?

I just bought 5 domains to begin testing this method, including a brand new money site. I know this is important with PBN security, but does it apply here as well?

    • Hi Dillon,

I’m using the same registrar, but different hosting for the 3 domains vs the money site. No problems on my end :)

      Alex

      • Thanks Alex! I didn’t need to setup hosting for the other 4 domains, just redirected them. Everything is on GoDaddy. Would you recommend moving my money sites hosting to HostGator? The only domain with hosting currently is the money site.

  23. Just to clarify: Does linking to the “money site” mean linking directly to the affiliate product?

    Great post, thanks!

  24. Great article and technique Alex, thank you. Definitely worth trying.

Can this technique be done with web 2.0 pages as well? I mean sending the links to the web 2.0 pages and linking those pages to another unspammed web 2.0 page, whose url has been shortened by bit.ly, and then linking to a money site? I was just wondering…

    • Super Great info Alex and a Super Thank you to both of yous. So that I can get a feel for things just how competitive of a search is this good for? , is it reasonable for me to go after something with few thousand searches with this alone….no linking or social to the actual money site? how long does it seem to take from start to ranking? -THX a Million!!!

  25. Hi Alexander, this is pure awesome stuff man. I would like to ask, when you optimize your money site:
    1. What’s the kw ratio for the content on your money site?
    2. What’s the length of your content on the money site, what would you recommend?
    3. How many pages of content do you have on your money site & How many would you recommend?
    4. Can I start this with a brand new domain for a money site, & implement this method and still be able to rank quickly?
Or do you have to “age” the new domain a little bit, wait a few weeks before starting to implement this strategy, so as to look natural to Google?

    Thanks again.

    • HI Alex, great stuff here! My Q is about domains (the spam 3) can you really use any domain at all? What about the free .tk domain

      will that work?

      • Hey did you get the .tk to work? I seem to be running into a problem, where it doesn’t like that the forwarding domains aren’t hosted

        • NO. I keep getting forwarding errors too. I just decided to buy “proper domains”. This method seems too good not to try out

          • Proper domains? Can you please elaborate? I seem to have no forwarding errors on my end. Yes, the method is pretty good ;)

      • You cannot use a bit.ly website in dot.tk to forward to another website.
However i used a dot.tk website as the 4th website forwarding to my money site.
        Will that work?

    • Alex,

Simple but genius if it works, and if it does, then it will make using of PBN redundant :) Let’s have our money back :)

      • *LMAO* @ Ben’s comments :D ;D :D

Can this method be used for clients sites where we do use Cloud PBN? (No, I’m NOT looking for a refund *lol*) I am just wondering if this strategy would work for clients’ sites on its own merit, or would it be best used with/along side/in conjunction with Cloud PBN — the reason for asking is because you have reached #1 spot for what is a well known tough-to-rank-for-keyword in a tough niche. (Congrats by the way!) ;)

Just to clarify, and if used alongside Cloud PBN is it correct to say that the 4th site should:
        a) be on its own hosting account (“Yes” or “No” will do here)
        b) have ZERO content (“Yes” or “No” will do here)
        c) use a 301 direct, as described, to the client’s site (“Yes” or “No” will do here)

I’d like to add my thanks to those already given above for this great post that is a fantastic “leg up” to those of us who are not so technical and I for one am amazed that you can come up with these strategies – and I’m very grateful that you will share them, like this.

I see a lot of possibilities in using this method – but please do keep ‘em coming!

  26. Thank you for this great information. If I want to rank a site for several keywords, should I just repeat the strategy for each keyword? Is this method safe enough to do for clients’ sites?

  27. Awsome post Alexander. But please, could you answer this for me?
How much backlinks should i send to those 3 redirects and how quickly can i expect my rankings? I am asking this just because i am running on a bit low budget.
Do you have any tips for checking competition? Thanks very much!

  28. Hey Alex, just curious. Your money site is obviously converting very well. Is it a sniper or authority site? Thanks!

  29. Hi Alexander, thanks for the great info,

Can the money site be an affiliate link?

  30. Hi Alex, Great info, thanks. I am not able to download the Tutorial Project Sample. Could you help. please?

  31. what type of list are you using? are you using a dirty list or clean list? do you filter out for pr1+ or any sort?

  32. This is pretty cool, Alexander. Thanks!

Would this be good for linking to an Amazon product listing (as money site)?

  33. Hi Alex,
What type of redirection we need to use for the THREE websites?
I understand 301 redirecting will be used for the website which lead to my money website, but what about the other 3 websites which redirecting to the shorten link?
In CP of the company where I have my websites, I have to select 301 redirect or 302 redirect , so which type to be selected for these 3 websites ?
    Thanks

  34. I apologize for the double posting, but I placed this under Ben’s comments above by mistake… I apologize for that but I didn’t want “miss” your answers to my questions.

    *LMAO* @ Ben’s comments above :D :D :D

Just to clarify, and if used alongside Cloud PBN is it correct to say that the 4th site should:
    a) be on its own hosting account (““Yes/correct” or “No/incorrect” will do here)
    b) have ZERO content (“Yes/correct” or “No/incorrect” will do here)
    c) use a 301 direct, as described, to the client’s site (““Yes/correct” or “No/incorrect” will do here)
    d) we do not insert a website on any of these 4 domains. Is that correct?

I’d like to add my thanks to those already given above for this great post that is a fantastic “leg up” to those of us who are not so technical and I for one am amazed that you can come up with these strategies – and I’m very grateful that you will share them, like this.

    • 1) From what i understand the 4th site connect to your money site, and NO it does not need to be hosted
      2) NONE of the 4 sites need content b/c they are not hosted…Your Money Site will need content and hosting
3)That I don’t know, I’m still testing the method…but I would test it on something else first
4)Correct you insert the bitly link. I will say, that when I put the bitly link in the first time, and hit save it was automatically changed to the full domain url. I fix this I went back into the redirect url and changed the first box back to the bitly link and hit save. That should make it stick

  35. Hi Alex,
appreciate if can answer my previous question
I already applied your method and just waiting your answer so I can start my GSA campaign.
    The question was:
What type of redirection we need to use for the THREE websites?
I understand 301 redirecting will be used for the website which lead to my money website, but what about the other 3 websites which redirecting to the shorten link?
In CP of the company where I have my websites, I have to select 301 redirect or 302 redirect , so which type to be selected for these 3 websites ?

    Thanks

  36. Your written tutorial is a little confusing.
It appears all 4 domains will be shortened with bit.ly. CORRECT?
Three will be URL Forwarding within Name Cheap. Correct?
The forth will also be shortened with bit.ly. Correct?
The forth will be 301 REDIRECTED with Name Cheap. IS THAT URL FORWARDING??
The forth is 301 to my money site. OK, BUT if the first three steps are correct, How do they link to each other or anything?
Every time I reread this info i get the same questions. Must be doing something wrong. Please advise, Ken

  37. on the new domains, do we also get them hosted?

  38. hi,

can you explain to me how link juice is passed through a nofollow bit.ly link please?

  39. Has anyone found Fiverr’s that are -willing- to use this model? So far, I’ve had 100% of those checked come back with “sorry no can-do”?

    Please let me know

  40. hey wyatt thanks for the awesome info and tips..
I got 4 new domains and shortened the 4th with bitly.
When i pasted it into namecheap to url redirect it gave me this message…
INVALID_ADDR: ‘bit.ly/1wDEm5n’ should not be an IP/ URL for CNAME record. (host name: www)

Any suggestions! Thanks and ready to get this rollin’

    • Hey guys, I got it to work with Namecheap. Before you do anything, read about the differences between 301 an 302 redirects. Remember that Alex uses a 301 redirect for the domain pointing to the money site and this is a PERMANENT redirect. After reading about these redirects, I’m not sure if I’ll go ahead with this strategy using an existing Web site.

This is what I did to make it work for me. I pointed one of the domains to my money site first. Then got the domain shortened with bit.ly.

With the other 3 domains, I put in the top box: http://bit.ly/1rS3a5t (just an example) and left the lower box blank. You might have to do this more than once until it sticks. Using Alex’s example, these 3 domains are 302 redirects (temporary).

      Hope this helps!

      • In the fields there is no 302, should i select on “URL Redirect” instead?
Why lower box blank? I thought all fields needs to be filled up.

        • It didn’t work for me when I filled in the lower box. It’s really quirky. Seems like Alexander has disappeared and we’ll have to figure stuff out ourselves.

        • I believe that “URL Redirect” with Namecheap is automatically a 302.

          • 302 means temporarily moved, which is what I used (NameCheap default). If you care to, you can add hosting and do it from cPanel/WHM/DirectAdmin, but I see no reason to do so.

            Alex

    • I will say, that when I put the bitly link in the first time, and hit save it was automatically changed to the full domain url. To fix this I went back into the redirect url and changed the first box back to the bitly link and hit save. That should make it stick

      • I found I had to go back to Namecheap and make sure the redirects were correct, which they weren’t. What I did was chose URL Redirect under Record Type for both @ and www otherwise it wouldn’t take the bit.ly URL.

        • Hi Lorna,

NameCheap defaults could be set, so that is what I used. Just filling in the boxes and saving is what I did, and if any errors were encountered, they have an awesome Live Chat :)

      • Hi Enzo,

Can you please elaborate? I’m a bit confused. :)

        • sure…The first time I put in the links and saved, the links changes so
What I did was chose URL Redirect under Record Type for the @ only, and pasted my bitly link there. Also, if you look to the drop down box on the right you can change it to 301 redirect

          • Yep! A few people didn’t bother to check the drop down box and were complaining that it’s a 302 :P Alex

  41. How much links you added total with gsa ser for your high competition niche that you ranked?

  42. If I want to rank a site for several keywords, can I repeat the strategy for each keyword?

Is this method safe enough to do for clients’ sites?

    • Hi,

Basically, there are no keywords used here (as in anchor text), since it’s all 301s. It will make your site more authoritative and help you rank for your keywords, all of them. If you have a lot, or they are higher/lower competition, you can adjust the domains pointing to the Bit.ly accordingly (maybe using 5 instead of 3). Alex :)

  43. Hi Alex, do you think it would be clever to hide site that redirects to moneysite from competiors because they can easily find out what is method. Do you think it would be good to get host for that domain and disallow everything in robots.txt including majesticseo and ahrefs bots? And does deindexed domain by robots.txt still pass link juice?

    • Unless you want to change it from a 302 to a 301, but there’s no reason to. Ahrefs still hasn’t picked up my links to the site, and it’s safe to say I’ve built several hundred thousand links thus far, so that shouldn’t really worry you. If you want to do that, I recommend using .htaccess instead of robots.txt :) I don’t work with deindexed domains, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you. Alex :)

  44. Done!
I am running now the GSA campaign.
    I will keep updating ..

  45. Hey, Alexander,

I have a little confusion. So, basically you host only the money site, the rest of the 4 domains, you don’t host them anywere, right? You just redirect them from the DNS zone in namecheap and that’s it? You don’t host them anywere, right?

    Cheers!

    • No hosting is needed, but that would make it a 302 redirect (contrary to popular belief, they still do pass authority). If you want to go through the trouble of making it a 301 (no reason to do so), you can go ahead and host it and change the domain to 301 to the sites from the cPanel. Let me know if you have anymore questions :)

      • Hey Alex, glad to know you’re back from your vacay :). Could you please clear up some confusion.

Are all 4 domains pointing to bitly 302s (default at Namecheap) or is the fourth one to the money site a 301? Would this strategy still work if all 4 are 302s – I think I’d prefer them to be temporary.

Also, I have shared hosting with Hostgator. Is it safe to implement this strategy without having a problem with HG in having all these links hitting my sites?

I already have 4 domains lined up – waiting for your reply before implementing.

        Thanks!

      • I mean, won’t I have a problem with my shared hosting account with Hostgator when these gsa links hitting my MONEY sites?

  46. Alexander & Wyatt… fantastic stuff guys! My mind went nuts with every sentence I read. I do have 1 question and that is how frequently do you hit these sites with backlinks? Do you run a campaign daily or every couple of days or just every so often?

Thanks for such a great post and Wyatt – this post and the one on parasites is Becker-worthy my man!

    Awesome.

  47. Hey Guys! Good Stuff.

I have an ecommerce store that I’ve been growing for over a year now and it brings in a good amount of cash. Is this strategy strictly burn and churn? Or is it relatively safe? Meaning, of course if I see a drastic drop I could just take off the 301 from the 4th domain and everything will go back to normal?

Please let me know as I am a bit hesitant.

    Thansk!

    • I think 301 redirect is permanent. Waiting for Alex to respond to see if we can use 302 redirects (temporary) on all 4 domains. I believe that’s what he shows but am not sure and got confused with all the comments.

  48. Is this “trick” safe enough to use for our clients?

    • I analyzed a site recently for a potential client that is ranking on the first of Google for all it’s targeted cities using multiple 301 redirects and it’s been ranking for over a year. I would say it’s safe although the links pointing to the 301’d sites did not have much of a link profile. They were relevant domains though so that is definitely important.

I’d like to hear what Alex has to say about this.

  49. Should we wait for domains to index itself or we can add them to google index manually for instant index?

  50. I have a question?

Now, for the money site, as stated above, in your message, the site can be monetized with affiliate, CPA, etc. Can the money site be a re-direct to an affiliate offer or is it safer to have a real site with content to direct to affiliate offers, including landing page to capture emails?

    • So how many links and over what period of time are you blasting out with GSA to the top tier of 3 domains? or another way of saying it is I were using fiverr gigs how many gigs does each top tiered domain need and over what period of time/

    • If you do a redirect to the affiliate site, normally your conversion will be very poor. So at least you should create a LP if not a proper site – I have an affiliate site which took me 100’s of hours to create with all the manual backlinks and now I am on the first page of Google and has had a few sales since my ranking improved.

  51. 11-5-14
Your GSA Search Engine Ranker formula seems simple enough. How often should we re-order the fiverr gig this to keep our sites ranked?

    • If you can afford the $99, I would just buy the software since this a decent tool and a must to have.

      • yeah but don’t u need a lot of other stuff to go with it..captcha breaker, a vps server, and a couple of other things

        • That’s why I said if you can afford. At the same time if you intend to stay in this business you can’t keep paying Fiverr to do your jobs for you – I don’t trust them anyway – I call it Fiverr in the BIN.

          • Hey Ben, can you help? In Alexander’s example, aren’t all the links 302 since he said he’s using the default at Namecheap? I also read, just as Alexander has stated, that contrary to what people think, the 302 still passes juice.
Also, I have shared hosting for my money site. Will I have a problem with Hostgator when these GSA links (though filtered through bitly) hit my money sites?
            Thanks!

          • @annette

To be honest I haven’t tried this myself yet as I’ve started another proper site on another niche, and are still busy trying to get more keywords ranked to the no 1 position with my older sites.

I myself use Godaddy and never had a problem. The following link may shed more light: https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/2376/what-are-301-and-302-redirect-pages

          • Ben, if i buy GSA do we need the other 3 recommeded products?

          • @Keith

I haven’t used the paid version of GSA as I try to build sites for long terms and mostly I do everything manually since I go for very high profile backlinks like the CNN and Wikipedia sort of links. It takes a lot of work but in the end if one gets them, then the reward will be well worth it.

However, you would definitely need the Captcha Breaker as well at least – I hope Alex will give you the definite answers soon :) where’s he btw? Has he gone around the world with John Chow to test more exotic foods again! Oh sorry that Matthew Woodward I think :) :)

  52. Bitly is nofollow, how exactly they pass link juice !?
And how much links you are sending daily, or per project ?

  53. I entered the bit.ly url in the other 3 domains, it wont stay in the second block with the www. It dosen’t even forward to my money site. None of the 3 url’s forward to my money site. Any suggestions?

    • Hi Alexander,

Thanks for sharing this with us. I have a question although. Once I redirect a domain to the shortened domain and save the changes, it displays the original url in the field and not the shortened one.

Under Host Name the www displays “free.park-your-domain.com.” in the Record Status CNAME (Alias).

So none of it looks like in your tutorial. Is this normal?

Do I need to select “URL Redirect 301″ or just leave it at the default URL Redirect?

      Thanks a lot!

      • Alexander,

I read the above comments and noticed that this question was answered already.

Is it ok that I selected under RECORD TYPE the URL Redirect (301) for both @ and www host names?

        Thanks!

    • @Keith

You need to forward 3 url’s to the 4th one and not to your money site. You only have to forward the 4th url to your money site.

Keep trying and they will stay.

  54. I spammed 250k verified gsa ser links in 12 days(and i keep spamming with same platforms used Alex provided) and still not first page, i am using medium to low competition niche. My main targeted KW was appeared before 3-4 days in 35 position in google now its nowhere to be seen almost 3 days.

    • @Nyan

Maybe you should give big G some time to pick your posts up or use a service like Linkpipeline to speed up the idexing of them.

  55. I am wondering if you have ever done this with the fourth 301 redirected to a masked affiliate link?

  56. So on Oct 26th I tried your method here, here’s how I did it!

I went for a pretty competitive affiliate niche, lets just call it weight loss, because that’s what it is.

I bought 3 EMD domains from Godaddy, on 3 different user names .info’s only $2.00 each. The 4 domains are two keyword EMD’s, with search volumes of 14,000, 11,000, 10,500 and 9,900 searches.

Then I built links with 30 very small search volume keywords many just 50 or 60 searches and no more than 150 per month.
I used your GSA, with a Fiverr gig, and got about 7800 backlinks.

Today is November 13th and the hits started to come in, 221 visits today! I am a really crappy conversion page writer so I only got a couple sales, but I got sales!

The funny thing is I am ranking for the EMD’s and not the low search volume keywords.

    What ever, this does work!

    Thanks for the info!

      • That’s awesome! Excellent job and way to take action on this right away

        • I was wondering if this would work with expired domains that have tons of backlinks? Instead of buying new domains and using GSA to blast links…maybe if we could find expired domains with a huge link profile? what are your thoughts on this?

      • Hey Scott, nice to hear your success with this method.
I want to try this method with my local EMD domains.

any update? how is your rankings? is this still working?

    • But did you ranked for main keywords?
Also what anchor % you used for main KWds when building links.

I am gonna try to spam url shorteners with 100% anchor text for main KW and then these spammed url shorteners around 100 redirect to 1 url redirect and then to moneysite. Will let you know if this works.

  57. Great 301 technique – now a basic ?

Can we (do we) use as our 4th site the affiliate CPA offer link?

Or do we (must we) buy a domain and build a page for the CPA product?

    thanks – again GREAT technique

    • I just spent so much time reading the same questions asked over and over. I think your next product needs to be SEO on Phonics!
It’s in plain English not confusing at all.
1 domain that will be used to point to your money site, gets the bitly that you will put your website url to be forwarded.
The other 3 just get the bitly url that will just send the juice to the pointed money site domain.

  58. Hey Alex,

I’ve been doing this stuff for over 5 years now, and I gotta admit I’m also slightly confused, I’m sure if you can clarify the following questions it would be GREATLY appreciated as well as help other readers immensely, also considering the time we’ve invested in attempting to execute this method:

I think most of the readers want to know what the difference is between “URL Forwarding” and “URL Redirection”, that being said…..

Please tell me if the following is correct, I will write in the most simple form I can ->

    A) Buy 4 New Domains, and we must already have 1 Domain which is the “Money Site” Which is 5 Domains in Total.

    B) Choose 1 of the 4 New domains, and Shorten that URL using Bit.ly

    C) Use the other 3 Remaining New Domains, and 301 or 302 Redirect All 3 of them to the 4th Domain using the Newly shortened Bit.ly URL we made in the previous Step. (Just redirect the 3 domains by typing in the 1 SAME Shortened Bit.ly URL FROM BEFORE, up until now we have only Shortened 1 URL)

    D) Then we must 301 Redirect the 4th domain (Using the regular non shortened URL) to the money site.

    For Starters is this correct?

    Thanks In Advance Buddy,

    Best Regards,

    Rudy K

    • Alex, I would really appreciate an answer because cuz I’m very interested in this method and I’ve spent a reasonable amount of time + money trying to set it up. Just want you to clarify a few things for me and maybe some other readers could benefit as well, who knows?! If you don’t have time to answer just let me know buddy it’s all good.

      Best Regards,

      Rudy K

  59. Thanks Wyatt and Alex

I’ve just finished setting the sites up for 1 $-page and am now going to GSA blast the first 3.
I’m looking forward to this. I’ve got 30 suburbs for a pizza shop targeted of which 7 are fighting back, the others are all P1, so those 7 will be a good test.
By the way the tutorial link just defaults to the Home page for filedropper. Any other link to it?
    Thanks again

  60. The project download link is not working, can you please re-upload?

  61. Just came to know about this interesting method Alexander..
Want to start this with my local EMD domains.

Any updates? is this method still working?

  62. Thanks Alex/Wyatt
When setting up the URL forwarding to the bitly link, I am getting this value populating into the ‘www’ field once I click save…..free.park-your-domain.com.

    Is this normal?

  63. Hi Alex,

    is this method still working?

    Thank you

  64. This question is crazy late, but I only just saw the article. It’s awesome, by the way.

I’m wondering if you built any other links/signals to the money site, or was it ranked just on the redirect?

    Thanks!

    • Oh, also, have you ever tried this to just rank an inner page? Thanks, man, killer advice!

      • Aaand last one, I promise: So there is no real difference in having the redirects be 302 or 301 with this technique, right? Does it matter at all?

        Thanks much!

        • I lied, last one: Is the GSA campaign run to only one URL at a time, or can you run it to all 3 of the redirect URLs at the same time? Thanks much! :)

    • And do you have any addons / additional tools for GSA that you use? Proxies? E-mails? Indexing? Thanks! :D

  65. Came across this post this morning – running it today. I will feed back my results. I am going for MASSIVE keywords.

  66. UPDATE: Fiverr gig has been purchased, time till fully delivered 28 days (Thursday may 21st) but the campaign should start running in 3 days from today ( by April 26th)

So I’ll post weekly updates once the campaign starts. See y’all in about 10 days.

    • Keep us updated, good luck Steve!

      • my first comment with the entire setup for this live case study is not on this page… can you approve that comment so everyone can see everything that I’m doing? thanks in advance, Alexander.

  67. Alex, Wyatt, Good guide. Thanks.
Why not dispense with the three new Tier 3 domains and just send GSA links to the bit.ly short-link?
Bit.ly has the high enough DA to cope with the high volume of links, right?
If the three Tier 3 domains were aged, high authority domains the rationale would be more obvious to me.

  68. This method still working in June 2015?
    Want to try it out.

  69. Is this still working? Thanks in advance! What about for LOCAL SEO?

  70. Is this still working for google domination station?

  71. Trying this out today and will report back with the results. ‘Go hard or go home’ I believe they say.

  72. Just done today…stuck at top of page 2 for my keywords….will let you guys know if this helps and if it is still working in 2015.
